A Movie!

it's hard for me choose one like my favorite movie, Because so many good films exist!
but if i have to talk about one, This will be "The triplettes of belleville", this is a French animation movie, written and directed by Sylvain Chomet on 2003.
The film tells the story of a young cyclist and his grandmother, how this boy is kidnapped by American gangsters and the adventures that his grandmother has to go through to rescue him.

There are almost no dialogue in the film, everything is explained through music and pantomime. Also, there is a strong critical sense of humor regarding united states, something characteristic of French wit.

Was nominated for many awards, including the Oscar (Best Animated Film and Best Original Song)), for its excellent animation, direction and script, but what It was left with all the looks and ears was its wonderful soundtrack. Composed and written especially for the occasion.

Here is a video of the main song

I like a lot, because it is full of little details, in the city, the characters, (dog scenes are fantastic!) music. all forms an atmosphere. And I also love the bikes!

Of this author, I also like his other films like "The Illusionist", or  "the lady and the pigeons". He also has a short in the movie "Paris, j 'taime".

Here is the link to the first part of the short film "La Vieille Dame Cathedral Et Les Pigeons", that I mentioned earlier.

You can find most of these films online, but if you can't find them, you can ask me for them :)

I hope you enjoy it!
So long! see you later!

2

Music is so much important in my life, I spend too many hour in a day, listening different kind of artists.
Maybe for that, I can't choose one band or singer like 'the one'. Buuuuut, recently  Bossa Nova style capture all my attention.
I'll post 3 or 4 videos that I like.

The first one is call 'Dunas', the singers are Rosa Passos and Ivete Sangalo, both brazilian.

The second is call 'Construcción', for Chico Buarque, I think that this song is very sad, remind me the portuguese word 'saudade', this means something like melancholy... (you can search the precise term on line). He's also brazilian.

The third video calls 'Evaporar', the band calls  Little joy, they are half brazilian and half american.

Despite the above, I can say some gender that I dislike, like grunge and too heavy metal.
Well I hope you enjoy it
See you next time!
