A very good web-site that all we know it.. Found it in 2005  by three former(Chad Hurley, Steve Chen, and Jawed Karim) PayPal employees, was buy it for Google on 2006.

This video-sharing website is the most visit in the world, or maybe not... (you know the chinese change all the statistics ajaj)

 

I think that this is a very funny website, I visited every day,(more than one timefor each day).

 

I have my count on YouTube, because I have a count on Gmail and all are together now, since 5 or 6 month ago.. so I use it to listen music, to see different kind of videos( videos about cat particularly)

 

 

 

 

I also use this site to watch movies, some people upload different kinds of movies to the pleasure of people like me.

The new topic is about our eating habits and FOOOOOOOD ñami ñami

So many questions in the post seem to me very interesting.. so I will tray to answer more than a few :)

Food is very important in my life (who doesn't?)
Food is everything, more than god, more than Maradona... if you know what I mean. jaja
I love food in home, in restaurants, in other houses, eat outdoor, with my family(specially my aunt and my cousin), with my friends, sometimes with my cats... sometimes I eat with some friend by Skype. Never alone... or I try it.

Since some time, maybe 1 or 2 years I take care about my alimentation, severely... well well, more than my mom jaja (she's a very messy person). So.. now I try to eat breakfast, lunch on time. The afternoon snack and lunch are more complicated, because always I have something to do, sometimes my job, go out with some friend, a movie, etc. But I try to make it work :)

I always try to taste new food, just like I try to experiment different kind of things. I think these is important to expand the knowledge, so I try it all!

I love the onions, It's unbelievable for me the person who dislike it, I really don't understand this situation! The onion is the best, rice with onion, beans with onion, salad with onion, all with onion... maybe exist some chocolate with onion, and probably It's good

I also love fruit and vegetables, I can't live without them... I fell the vitamin swimming through my veins when I eat it. I feel the energy is a very good felling :)

Mmmm so... I fell hungry now jaja

How green I am

Today the topic is related to  looking after the environment. And to talk about how Green I am.

In first place I think that we need to take attention of this trendy about to be a "Green person" because some people use it only to feel it good with them self, not for an ideological thing or something more interesting.

So after that, I can say that I'm interesting in this kind of  things,I really don't remember when started this curiosity that now has become in a "rule" in my life (But in a very pleasant "rule").

Since 6 or 7 years   ago I incorporated recycling habits into my life. In the beginning I recycled only few papers from the school and sometimes plastic bags. But now I recycle: different types of paper (White paper, carton, shiny paper, etc), glass, plastic, oil, organic garbage, tetra-pack cartons, aluminium tins... I'm think that so many things can be recycling!... but I'm agree with  teacher's blog when he said that is very difficult living far away from the recycling points, but I make it work! (sometimes my mom hate me for the disaster jaja)

I also go on bike to many places, I would like to go to the University by bicycle but is really far to my house :(. The rest of the time I use public transportation...

Animals and pets

Hello classmate!

Today I'm going to talk about the animals in my home... but not about my brother... just for today jaja

In my home there are six cats and one dog, the names of the cats are (in order decreasing) "Inti", "Küyan", "Rapha" and her son "Gregorio", "Lorenzo" and the last one her name is "Tamara" or "La gata chica" or "señora gata", she's the newest... poor cat, she doesn't know her identity yet jajaj. My cats are the best ever in the hole world, the most beautiful and soft :p and my dog is called "Trotsky"  I think that my dog is a little dumb, but when I said "sit" he sit down,  so well... I like that, but I don't no why.

When one of my cats died I will do something with his/her body, something related with taxidermy or something like that, but just when they die, without pain.. It's a very difficult thing be consistent when somebody is against of animal abuse, but I think that is a very good goal to reach.

For other way, yes, I know my animal in the Chinese Zodiac, but I'll not say it, because all my classmate can guess my age, and this is a secret/joke that I would like to keep with me. I really believe in this kind of things, well, maybe not to guide my life but yes to have a good time reading the papers in the morning

Banksy gives Ronald McDonald's clown shoes a shine by Jonathan Jones

Banksy, is one of the most famous  and controversial artist from UK and now he's in New York doing a "residence". In front of many McDonald's is where he makes one of his "performance"; in this work the artist put a Ronald's statue and a real boy shoeshine working for him.

The journalist, declare that this is not a new idea, all the people around the world knows about the bad things that this corporation do and in addition, all the statement that the republican extremist says.

For this reason, Jones think that Banksy's art is very silly, done to foolish people.

His visit caused a lot of movement in NY since a lot of fans ride around the city looking for his pieces until financial speculation about his works.

This provoke an uneasiness in the journalist, because Banksy is an street artist, not a "gallery artist", for this all, is at least suspicious all this situation... but he give to him an space for a doubt, because apparently the artist knows this situation.... for that he make the next "show" sell it his works in a very cheap price.

Fan or not fan of Banksy, he's at least interesting to watch, so many people have been saying that Banksy have been died... but now we can see that this sentence insn't true.... in spite of he maintain alive through the polemic.

An anime

When I was a child I saw a lot of anime in compare to Disney's Movie.

How you must know it, anime is the japanese animation. The Japanese have their versions for everything,  in music: there they have J-rock or J-pop, and a lot of other types because they ARE a LOT (of population)

I think that all of us saw "El club de los tigritos" (Little tiger club) when were child, at that time the internet wasn't very popular, so we must to saw the TV.

In that show I saw animes like: Ranma 1/2, Sailor Moon, Dragon Ball, Sakura Card Captor, Zodiac's Knight, The Super Champions, Doraeomon, Kurochan, Shin-chan, Pokemon, Slum Dunk, Hunter x Hunter, etc.

For some time I was very fan of Sakura Card Captor, (Maybe yet jaja), I saw all the seasons, I had a lot of merchandising, like Photo album, cards, CD, Movies, etc.

Whit this post I remembered  how much I enjoy  the Soundtracks, Here I'll post some videos of a very good openings and endings of a few Anime (Some will be doubt about my musical taste, but I don't care)

POST 2: A COUNTRY I WOULD LIKE TO VISIT

I know a lot of places in Chile and a few abroad.

Despite  the fact that it is a very nearly country, I would like to go to Uruguay, I haven't had the opportunity to travel there yet, but I'm thinking of traveling next year on my vacations.

So many people tell me that is a very beautiful country, with the betters natural reserves of Latin america and a very good climate. Also, they tell me that the people who lives there are very kind and very cheerful.

One of the better things that I know about this country is the music. I like a lot of bands and singers from there and I would like to see them live. Also I had been research information about the most quiet and peaceful places and beaches. Above all I would like to visit Cabo polonio and the National Park "Butia Yatay", this last place, is like a desert of palms.(The next fhotograph)

Other thing that I think is very important when somebody travel to any place, is the food, this is one of the better ways to know -through the experience - the culture and the tradition of each place.For this reason I would like to taste a lot of the variety of fruits and vegetables, the most variety that I can!

Well, now I would like to go  like a tourist, but I don't eliminate the option to live  there, because so many friend how are living there now, tell me that the chileans are very welcome and I would like to study in Montevideo near the Atlantic Ocean :)

My ideal Job

Since the beginning is very hard to think in a good job related with arts, because in Chile the area it's very poorly. But if I could dream I would like to work in a job related with cultural or heritage management, documentation... this are jobs where we could find some good payment in first phase.
At the same time I would like to investigate about some other topics of my interest... perhaps I would be famous and I would only sit and think jajaja, (I doubt it, because  I'm a very undisciplined person... but I'm try to make it work!)
In spite of everything, meanwhile I don't have kids, all will be easier than with them (I really don't want to have children, never in the whole world jaja)


Well, I just don't know what else  to say...If nothing works right, I can always learn a trade and job in a very most interesting thing...
Finally, a job for me isn't a very important thing for so many reasons... about theese things we can talk in person :)

Hello everybody!

Today is our last post, in blog, for this semester. 

In this blog i'm going to talk about my blog experience.In this semester  my blog experience was very good and funny. I think that this help me to know  better my classmate. I enjoy it more than to do talk about my self jajaj. Also I could say that this help me to improve my written in english, before this I didn't have so many tools to write in english language. So I believe that blog experience is a very good type of learning.

Fot other side, I would like to talk about the advantages and disadvantages of blogging in the English class. 

The advantages are the good connection between everybody in class and that we had great feedback.  

The disadvantages are that we don't have any feedback at time from the teacher or somebody with more experience in english language, I know that will be very stressing for the teacher, but I believe this is a problem of english program: to many student for one teacher. 

I would like that the program and the University put more resources in the learning of language, either french, german, english or any language.

My Favorite Subject

My favorite subject in the University is called "Politic, Neo-liberalism and Narcotraffic" this is a aestetic seminary, I go to this subject in UMCE (University of science of education), the University of Chile have an agreement of student mobility with that University.

In class we have seen different things, like drugs history in a book by Antonio Escohotado, also we have seen a lot of texts by Michel Foucault, additionally we have seen one book that I really don't read yet, this is called Gore Capitalism by Sayak Valencia.

I can't tell you more because this semester has been a little busy, both University have been in constants student demostration, because of that we have not had regular classes. Umce still in student action. I hope they go back to class soon, I REALLY WANT TO GO TO THIS SUBJECT!  

This is a seminary, this mean that I could do anything that I want, while this it be connected with the subject, this give us so many freedom for think and work, I think this is so important in our career, because we need to work in our self formation all the time!

For that and so much more things I love this subject!

Beauty

Today I'm going to talk about a subject very controversial: beauty.

Beauty across the history was very discussed, since we have conscious. 

This is studied from different disciplines, such as psychology, sociology, but especially from the aesthetic. Ordinarily, people say that beauty is what causes pleasure in the perception.

I think beauty is an personal and cultural experience, at the same time.

Has subjective and social components, building a personal vision, that is adapted to the social vision. A micro-vision that adapts to a macro-vision.

Beauty is the subject of the video made by TED: Ideas worth spreading (www.ted.com) , called ¨A Darwinian Theory of Beauty?", in this video Denis Dutton talks about a relation between beauty, biology and art.

 He think that beauty isn't a social construction, but has to do with evolution and natural selection. He links all this with Darwin theory of evolution.   

I think that his ideas are too basics and unsustainable, above all when we know and study this in our University. A lot of philosophy and theory could deny with better arguments, from sociology or antropology, all that Denis Dutton Says.

How could we know if prehistoric humans think this or that was beautiful?

He have a really positivist way of thinking.

My Favorite Artist

 today I’m going to talk about Slinkachu one of my favorite artist

He is a british street artist, photographer and blogger. This artist, was born as Stuart Pantoll, he says that he always has been interested in small things, when he was young, his dad made for him a train set,  but he never was interested in the trains, it was always the figures, houses and trees that fascinated him.

Born in 1979, this artist of 34 years old, uses every day’s objects, and tiny figurines, to create very small street-­-based installations and then photographs them: from far away and up-­- close. He could also be described as a miniaturist; he modifies tiny human figurines from model train sets and places them in real urban situations, capturing them in sight-­-seeing, camping, grocery shopping, fighting or dying.

He spent the last eight years shooting his miniature tableaux on the streets of London. Funny and touching, he put urban life under the microscope. Slinkachu's approach to street art is more subtle, more sensitive. You could easily walk right past one of Slinkachu's installations and not know it's there. His photographs are the key: the close-­-ups make you feel like a participant, while the far-­-away shots leave you feeling like a spectator.

His first solo exhibition was in august 2008, London, on the Cosh Gallery, but began his series of Little People in 2006, as respite from his day job in publishing. In relation with little things he says: “I didn't expect people to empathize with the characters so much. We have an innate pull to look after small things – kids, dogs, hamsters... People project their own feelings on to them.”

Slinkachu has become very famous , Now his photographs sell for up to £7000. Well, to fnish , maybe we could say that this works are meant to be published or to be in the museum, without that , Slinkachu couldn't exist as an artist.

Splurt

When I was in Secondary, I arrived to a party on University of Santiago. I lied to my mom and I told her that I had paid the ticket of this party, and i told her, How I suffered the next accident: 

-well mom, when I was up stair, one guy pushed me and I fell on the floor, in the same floor was a big rock!! and  I had hit  with it.... I don't felt so much pain, mom.... (jaja) My mom was soo angry... but the first is the first, she took me to the Hospital. There, they told me that I needed an operation. So horrible!

Well, They operated me, the put me three screws on my left ankle. I used to carry crutches and all that stuff.

In my photo, we can see my friend in this hard crossing, his name is Iván, he took me home (he was so drunk... he had a broken heart </3 ... and my mom angry, more and more). Also we can see my foot after the operation and the blessed rock (?), Ivan brought to me, like a souvenir ajja :) 

The truth was that I jumped a  big grating, all about the rock is true, at least.

I waited so much time to go to my home...Apparently, that worsened my situation

Usually, I think my mom knows the truth, but faster I forget this idea, for my own good.

Until today, all my family believe this version.

Now is a very funny story to tell, there are so much detail to talk, but that will be for another occasion.

Hi everyone.... Well, I love -see- (to watch) movies.
I have too -much- (many) favorites movies, but today -I- (I'm) going to talk about the movie Inception
This movie is a science fiction thriller film written (film.Written), co-produced, and directed by Christopher Nolan on 2010. The film (were) starred (by) Leonardo DiCaprio,  Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Ellen Page, Ken Watanabe, Tom Hardy, Marion Cotillard, Cillian Murphy, Tom Berenger -y- (and)  Michael Caine.
The film -has- won a lot (of) awards, including Best Photography, Best Sound Mixing, Best Sound Editing and Best Visual Effects.
The plot of this movie is about Don Cobb (DiCaprio) is an expert in the art of appropriate the secrets of the subconscious of others -during sleep- (while they are sleeping) . -The strange ability of Cobb has made a very  appreciate in the world of espionage, but it has also condemned to be a fugitive and he can't lead a normal life- . (Cobb's rare ability has become  a highly appreciated gift  in the world of espionage, but it has also condemned him to be a fugitive, this does not allow him to lead a normal life.) The only -opportunity- (chance) to change his life, -is will do exactly the opposite of  what always done- (is to do exactly the opposite of what he always does), -the Inception-  implanting an idea into the subconscious instead of subtract, (namely, an inception.)   The procedure for doing the inception is through a portable equipment that operates as an intravenous injection to the person to be filtered. Cobb not working alone, his team -are- (is made by) Arthur (Joseph Gordon-Levitt), Cobb's partner, Eames (Tom Hardy) the forger, and Ariadne (Ellen Page), a young student who is the architect of the operation. However, the plan is complicated for the intervention of someone who seems to predict their every movement, (only) someone will discover -only-,  -Don Cobb-.

I really love this movie, I like the plot, the visual effects and Joseph Gordon-Levitt…… I hope you like the movie too….kisses :)

A Movie!

it's hard for me choose one like my favorite movie, Because so many good films exist!

but if i have to talk about one, This will be "The triplettes of belleville", this is a French animation movie, written and directed by Sylvain Chomet on 2003.

The film tells the story of a young cyclist and his grandmother, how this boy is kidnapped by American gangsters and the adventures that his grandmother has to go through to rescue him.

There are almost no dialogue in the film, everything is explained through music and pantomime. Also, there is a strong critical sense of humor regarding united states, something characteristic of French wit.

Was nominated for many awards, including the Oscar (Best Animated Film and Best Original Song)), for its excellent animation, direction and script, but what It was left with all the looks and ears was its wonderful soundtrack. Composed and written especially for the occasion.

I like a lot, because it is full of little details, in the city, the characters, (dog scenes are fantastic!) music. all forms an atmosphere. And I also love the bikes!

Of this author, I also like his other films like "The Illusionist", or  "the lady and the pigeons". He also has a short in the movie "Paris, j 'taime".
